18. FROM SEGUDET TO COLL DORDINO

POINTS OF INTEREST: This is one of the best viewpoints in Andorra. On a clear day, Pica dEstats (Catalonias highest peak) may bes seen to the west and the Cadí mountains to the south )

PATH: Trail GR11 3 A

POINTS OF INTEREST: It is interesting to walk around all theree lakes. Here you can enjoy a panoramic view of a striking glacial landscape.
22. FROM COMA (VALLEY) DEL FORAT TO PORT (PASS) DEL RAT
STARTING POINT: El Forat valley

DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY: Medium
POINTS OF INTEREST: El Forat valley: this is a broad extension of pastures where mares, stallions and colts graze. At Port (pass) del Rat there is an interesting view of the crest line forming the frontier.

POINTS OF INTEREST: At Siguer pass there is a beautiful view of Blau lake (France) which reflects the sunlight in tones ranging from light blue to blue-.green and lilac blue.

PATH: Take trail GR11 4 A until you como te GR11 5 A

POINTS OF INTEREST: The "tramuntana" or north wind blows here almost always. There es a good panoramic view over Soulanet lake (France) at the foot of Thoumaset peak.

STARTING POINT: Itinerary nº 12 to the coll of Meners
PATH: Trail GR 11 8 A
TOTAL ASCENT: 200m.

POINTS OF INTEREST: This is one of the six tallets peaks of the six tallest peaks of Andorra. On clear days, Toulouse may be seen in the distance with the naked eye as well as all the Andorran summits. The north or east wind always blows here.

DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY: Easy
POINTS OF INTEREST: Thick forest and undergrowth. You will enjoy blazing your own path to explore this area.
STARTING POINT: Llorts
PATH: Hike uphill along the river Angonella to the shelter and walk around te Angonella lakes. The path then leads upwards again to the Arcalís gap and down to the valley.
TOTAL ASCENT: 1.300m.
TIME: 4h. 30 min.

POINTS OF INTEREST: The lakes and the shelter

STARTING POINT: Coll dOrdino
PATH: Ascend Pic (peak) de Casamanya via Collada (col) de les Vaques. Continue to Coll dArenas and hike up Pic de lEstanyó (Andorras second highest peak). Then you can hike up La Cabaneta peak and continue via Els Meners col to ascend Pic de la Serrera (the fourth highest peak in Andorra). You can reach the Sorteny shelter on the path that runs by Els Meners spring.
