Frorn Prats you can walk along the old pack road to Meritxell. Near the halfway point you come to Charlemagne's cross (a boundary cross).
Nature itinerary: if you feel like taking a pleasant hike, the commune of Canillo has prepared two carefully tended nature itineraries: the old track from Soldeu to Canillo and the pack road from Canillo to Meritxell.
Another possibility is a hike through the valley of lncles, which may be extended to Juclar and Fontargent lakes.
lf you prefer a motor tour, we recommend the paved road from Canillo to Ordino via Mereig and Coll (col) d'Ordino with a pause at the lookout point of Roc del Quer where you can see

The route frorn Prats to El Forn can be particularly interesting because of its autumn vegetation and its typical 'bordes" (cottages for keeping livestock and hay, whose name derives from their status as chimneyless houses).
You can also follow the main road to Soldeu and El Tarter to take a turning on the right and head for the Grau Roig ski slopes, continuing from there along the track that leads to Els Pessons lakes. lf you prefer to continue along the main road you will come to the lookout point at Envalira pass, from where there is a panorarnic view of the Andorran Pyrenees. The road leads to the Pas de la Casa, an ancient border shelter belonging to the parish of Encamp .
